°2 Granny Smith apple

°150 ml  golden brown sugar

°125 ml  granulated sugar°10 ml) vanilla

°180 ml (12 tbsp) unsalted butter, melted and cooled

°15 ml (1 tbsp.) ground cinnamon

°5 ml (1 tsp) ground ginger

°5 eggs

°250 ml (1 cup) milk

°125 ml (1/2 cup) Original Bisquick™ mix

°6 croissants, torn to small pieces


1 Preheat oven 175°C (350°F). Spraying 33 * 23 cm (13 x 9 in) baking dish with cook spray. Put aside.

2 In a 25-cm (10-inch) skillet, sauté the apples in the sugar until tender and the sugar is caramelized. Add the vanilla and mix. Remove from fire.

3 While the apples cook, mix the butter with the cinnamon and ginger in a small bowl.

4 In a large bowl, beat eggs and milk. Add Bisquick® mix and butter mixture and beat with a whisk. Add crescent pieces; let them soak while the apples cook.

5 When the apples are ready, add the apple mixture to the croissants that are soaking. Stir to mix. Pour into the baking dish.

6 Bake for 45 minutes. Serve hot.
