Cheese, Potato and Smoked Sausage Casserole

* ingredients :


°600 grams of potatoes

°400g smoked sausage

°1 onion

°2 cloves of garlic

°200 gm cheddar cheese

°4 eggs

°20 cl of semi-thick cream

°salt°pepper

°30 grams butter


* Methods :


Peel the potatoes, wash them and cut them into cubes. Cook for 10 minutes in a saucepan of boiling salted water.Cut the sausage into slices and fry for 10 minutes in a dry frying pan.

Peel garlic and onions and chop fine. Fry them for 5 minutes in an oven pan, add the potatoes and smoked sausage.Preheat the oven to 180°C or 6°C.

In a salad bowl, whisk eggs with cream, salt and pepper. Pour into the skillet. Add half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Bake covered for 20 minutes.

After this time, remove the lid, add the rest of the cheese and continue cooking for 15 minutes.Serve piping hot with fresh herbs of your choice.
